The latest data shows that China's imports of recycled rubber in April 2024 totaled 15,965.153 tons. Although there was a month-on-month decrease of 13.08%, compared with the same period last year, it achieved significant growth, with an increase of 35.2%.

In terms of exports, recycled rubber exports in April reached 7,170.328 tons, a month-on-month increase of 25.07%. However, compared with last year, exports decreased by 276.184 tons, showing a decline of 3.71%.

[Thailand, Malaysia, and India become China's major importers of recycled rubber]

Thailand, Malaysia and India are China's three major sources of recycled rubber imports. Among them, Thailand dominated with a 51% share, with imports of 7,973.471 tons in April. Imports from Malaysia and India were 2,774.781 tons and 1,545.715 tons respectively.

[South Korea, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom have become China's main export destinations for recycled rubber]

The export flows of recycled rubber are mainly concentrated in South Korea, Vietnam and the United Kingdom, and the total of these three accounts for about 55% of the total exports. Among them, exports to South Korea had the highest, reaching 1,005.684 tons, followed by Vietnam with 865.27 tons and the United Kingdom with 636.354 tons.
