From the perspective of business structure, the amount of execution of offshore information technology outsourcing (ITO), business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) undertaken by Chinese enterprises is 116.59 billion yuan, 49.4 billion yuan and 108.58 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 10.9%, 1.7% and 8.5% respectively over the same period last year. Among them, the business of software research and development services, vehicle maintenance services and industrial design services grew rapidly, with the implementation volume of 55.57 billion yuan, 10.28 billion yuan and 45.41 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 13.7%, 17.8% and 10.9% respectively over the same period last year.

From the perspective of regional distribution, the total contract value of offshore service outsourcing in 37 model cities across the country is 376.27 billion yuan, and the execution value is 243.88 billion yuan, accounting for 89.8% and 88.8% of the national total, respectively, an increase of 5.6% and 5.1% respectively over the same period last year. The contract value of offshore service outsourcing in the Yangtze River Delta region is 223.21 billion yuan, and the execution value is 143.75 billion yuan, accounting for 53.3% and 52.4% of the national total, respectively. The contract value of offshore service outsourcing in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was 66.68 billion yuan, with an execution value of 28.84 billion yuan, an increase of 42.2% and 35.5% respectively over the same period last year.

From the perspective of the international market, from January to April, the top three sources of offshore service outsourcing in China were Hong Kong, China, the United States and the European Union, with execution amounts of 56.59 billion yuan, 53.39 billion yuan and 38.31 billion yuan respectively, up-1.5%, 4.7% and 12% respectively over the same period last year, accounting for 54% of the total offshore service outsourcing. The implementation of offshore service outsourcing in the member countries undertaking the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) totaled 73.26 billion yuan, an increase of 16.6% over the same period last year. To undertake the "Belt and Road Initiative" co-construction of the country's offshore service outsourcing totaled 79.95 billion yuan, an increase of 24% over the same period last year.

From the perspective of the nature of enterprises, the amount of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by domestic enterprises is 139.93 billion yuan, accounting for 51% of the country, an increase of 8.5% over the same period last year. The amount of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by foreign-funded enterprises is 134.64 billion yuan, accounting for 49% of the country, an increase of 7.4% over the same period last year.

From the perspective of absorbing employment, by the end of April 2024, China's service outsourcing has absorbed a total of 16.172 million employees, including 10.564 million with university degree or above, accounting for 65.3%. From January to April, 301000 new employees were employed in service outsourcing, of which 255000 had university degrees or above, accounting for 84.7%.
