Due to manufacturing reasons, the power batteries of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause internal short circuits in the cells and cause thermal overload. Under extreme circumstances, the power battery may catch fire, posing a safety hazard.
Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the power battery packs for vehicles within the recalled scope for free, or repurchase vehicles to eliminate safety hazards. Users can choose one of the two options. Vehicle repurchase will be implemented from now on, and the replacement of the power battery pack is expected to be implemented from November 1 this year.
