JAKARTA, July 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted off Indonesia's eastern Maluku province on Monday night, without generating giant waves, the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.

The tremors occurred at 21luckycasino777:47 p.m Jakarta time (1447 GMT), with the epicenter being 182 km northwest of Southeast Maluku regency, with a depth of 98 km beneath the seabed, the agency said.
